Who is Diana?

Diana Stewart-Rossine

Diana Stewart originally went to Paris to start her career, later returning there to resume it. This British actress who also performs in French is no stranger to the screen (TV, film) and stage in France, with recent ImDB accreditation for Like Trees and her part in Olivier Dahan's award-winning film "La Vie en Rose" (French title La Mme). To register with Equity and the Spotlight after her return to the UK meant adding part of the name she had acquired by marriage, Baranoff-Rossin←. Hence Diana Stewart-Rossin← was born. Work in France has prevented her from appearing on the stage in the UK during 2006 and 2007, but her commuting days will soon be over with the forthcoming 2008 Bath Fringe Festival. Diana enjoys interpreting a wide range of characters with different accents, bringing unique sensitivity and passion to all her roles, leaving an indelible imprint on them, enhanced by her bicultural background.

With her gift for languages and accents, Diana also does voice overs and translates for the well-known travel writer, Francisca Matteoli.

5ft 7", auburn hair, several wigs, blue-green eyes and a clean driving licence, Diana's mother tongue is English and she enjoys using different accents. She also is fluent enough to perform in French, speaks some German and a little Russian.

Her hobbies include fencing, singing, dancing, dressmaking, tennis and swimming.
