Diana started her career in Paris, and it was only natural that she returned there to resume it. This British actress who also performs in French is no stranger to the screen (TV, film) and stage in France, with recent ImDB accreditation for Like Trees and her part in Olivier Dahan's award-winning film La Vie en Rose (French title La M�me). With Equity and the Spotlight, Diana Stewart-Rossin← has performed in a wide variety of shows in France, but returned to the UK for the 2008 Bath Fringe Festival with a show she helped to write and in which she co-stars. Sweet Ladies and Douces Dames (or Ch│re Maman, Ch│re Fille) is coming to the Theatre de l'Epouvantail (A La Folie) from September 18th to November 2nd in both versions, French and English. The exploration of the relationship between two present-day women, Amanda and Ophelia, via the medium of the timeless William Shakespeare. Diana interprets the complex persona of Amanda, Ophelia's mother, with snapshots of a wide range of Shakespearean characters including Titania, Lady Macbeth, Queen Margaret, Cleopatra and Countess of Roussillon.
